Trade names are registered using the Master Business Application. Add your UBI number and list each name you want to register on the Master Business Application.

Answer:
Constructive notice nationwide of the trademark owner's claim. Evidence of ownership of the trademark. Jurisdiction of federal courts may be invoked. Registration can be used as a basis for obtaining registration in foreign countries.

Question: Can a fax copy or photocopy of an application be filed?

Answer:
You cannot transmit an application by means of facsimile transmission, i.e., by "faxing" it to the Office, but you can file a photocopy or a fax copy by U.S. mail or hand delivery.
